- One lesson learned from the Career Program was to master the art of communicating across cultural boundaries, which significantly improved my ability to navigate different environments. Another crucial lesson was the strategic importance of adaptability in a challenging labor market in Sweden. These lessons have deeply impacted my mindset and promoted a more inclusive, resilient and forward-looking approach both in my personal and professional life," said Ammar Madhagi, former participant.

The program runs from 10 September to 22 October 2024 and includes eight interactive sessions. Each session lasts 3-4 hours and is carefully designed to provide an interesting and educational experience. During these sessions, you will have time for discussion and networking with other participants who share your ambition and drive.

- The aim is to give participants the tools to approach the Swedish labor market. It can be difficult to find a job in Sweden even with several degrees and many years of work experience. We meet many amazing individuals during the program and our hope is that everyone will find opportunities in Skaraborg and become permanent residents of our region, says Louise Hallberg, organizer of the program.

The program takes place in Welcome House Skövde, conveniently located next to Skövde Central Station, providing easy access for all participants.

The Career Program is completely free to participate in. However, it is important to note that a fee of 500 SEK will be charged should you register but not attend the sessions. Places are limited to ensure an intimate and enriching experience for all participants. So take this opportunity to connect with your peers, broaden your horizons and gain new experiences. The deadline for applications is August 18. The Skövde Career Program is waiting to welcome you!
