Skövde launched as game in new campaign 

Never before have avatars from very different games stood side by side on a game cover for one location. But now it's happening in Skövde. Because as the place grows and wants to attract more establishments and talents in computer games, smart industry and IT with a focus on fintech, many people are joining forces. Together they are launching Skövde as a game and a playground full of opportunities, especially through Science Park Skövde's innovation arenas. Science Park Skövde and Skövde Municipality are behind the campaign. 

"Press play and join the game". When you click on the game cover with the world-famous goat Pilgor and the female character from V Rising, you are let into Skövde's game plan. Here you meet business representatives who tell you about the location, and the opportunities they get through Science Park Skövde's ecosystem and arenas. The signal is clear: Skövde is a place of the future. 

Great opportunities for more people to develop

- "It's great to see how Skövde's strong position in game development is now being used to market the place as a whole. As part of Science Park Skövde, we see many benefits of being here and we are happy to contribute to the campaign. We hope that this initiative will attract more talents to Skövde, says Rickard Frisegård, CEO of Stunlock Studios. 

- Skövde is growing rapidly, especially in computer games, smart industry and IT with a focus on fintech, and there are great opportunities for more entrepreneurs and companies to develop here. We want to talk about this, and we choose to do so in a way that may stand out. There is probably no other place that talks about itself as a game and a gaming arena - and that has its own game cover," says Gustaf Wikblom, establishment manager at Science Park Skövde. 

The campaign will run from March 6 until Easter and will be visible on Linkedin, Youtube, Twitter and Instagram.
