“Jönköping has the best kebab sauce, hands down. Kebab culture at its best!”
“In Kiruna, we moved the whole damn town three kilometers so there would be room for the mine. Who else does that? We have the Northern Lights dancing for free every night, an ice hotel that’s rebuilt every winter, and the midnight sun that lets you grill at three in the morning. Plus, we launch rockets from Esrange.”
“Skövde is the best place in the world—it has everything you need. Shopping, culture, sports, and kind people. Still, I’ve lived in another country, in a very big city, for 15 years. Here, life is more relaxed and less stressful!”
“Västervik. The folk song festival, nightlife, the archipelago, and more.”
“Vadstena is the coziest town, where you live by the beautiful Lake Vättern, surrounded by historic sites.”
“Pajala has 6,000 residents throughout the municipality, Mikael Niemi, who has returned home, and Tornedalen’s best cloudberry marshes—their locations a well-kept secret. We have temperatures as low as minus 40 in January and as high as plus 30 in July, the midnight sun and the polar night, and a market every September where the whole of Norrbotten turns out.”
“We in Gothenburg don’t need a skyline—we have the Älvsborg Bridge.”
“Skövde has it all! Gaming, the university, culture, right between Stockholm and Gothenburg, a rich history, Billingen, and above all, all of us who live here!!!!”
“Norrköping is the best city—a small metropolis with beautiful architecture, grand tree-lined avenues, the river, the industrial landscape, and trams to boot. Definitely better than boring Linköping, which is spread out on the plain a little ways away.”
“People say Skövde doesn’t have any waterways. Bullshit! We’ve got both Lake Vänern and Lake Vättern!”
“Linköping wasn’t founded—the universe expanded until it was perfect for Linköping.”
