In Skövde, we take leisure time seriously. It is so important that we even have an annual outdoor festival. This year it will be held on the weekend of 21-22 May at Billingen. 10,000 visitors are expected to come to the exhibition area under the roof of Arena Billingen and to various try-out activities at Billingen's outdoor area.

Want to make the most of the outdoors this year? Take your nature experiences to new heights? Then Sweden Outdoor Festival is a must! For two fully loaded days on May 21-22, outdoor and activity companies will showcase their services and products for everyone interested in outdoor life on a 6000 square meter area under Arena Billingen's new roof. About 25 exhibitors will sell everything from outdoor clothing, backpacks, boots, outdoor kitchens to SUP boards and life jackets.

In the unique and inspiring environment with Billingecenter as a hub, there will be lectures, hands-on activities, a food area and competitions. Take the chance and challenge yourself by trying climbing, kayaking and bird of prey tracking. Or why not enjoy SUP in Hållsdammen, go on a guided nature walk or participate in a workshop? For children, a children's area will be opened in Skogsmulleriket and here you can try hobby horse jumping, story time with a troll hunt and much more.

As part of the festival, the finals of the Swedish Outdoor Cooking Championship will take place on Sunday at the Billinge Center. In the hungriest competition of the year, groups of friends, work colleagues, married couples and chefs compete for the honorable title of "Swedish champion in outdoor cooking".
